Biography
Julia Shvets is a College Associate Professor and the Director of Studies in Economics at Christ’s College, Cambridge. She was born in Moscow, and studied in the US, before receiving her PhD from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining Christ’s, she was a Junior Research Fellow at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Her research primarily studies individual behaviour, often using data from organisations. She is interested in bridging the gap between theoretical research (particularly, but not only, in behavioural economics) and empirical evidence, and she has worked with a variety of empirical methods, using both naturally occurring data and experiments.
